Nowadays, my wife and I were far away from
a word "big catch"; therefore, we "had to" experience
the big catch again. We decided to go fishing there on the following
weekend. We brought bass baits this time.
We brought real big baits and some baits that we didn't use for
the past few years. Yucci even found a Zara Gossa that she brought
8 years ago, new in package. Unbelivable.
Last week, the staff of this managed pond told me that jigs could
be productive when highly pressured. They released the bass last
week, and I thought bass wouldn't get spooky. However, it was 9
in the morning and already hot. Bass suddenly stopped biting. The
guy fishing next to me caught none for the past 30 minutes. Then,
I remembered the staff's suggestion.
I tied a jig and cast it to the spot where I imaged the shoulder
of the break should be. I set the hook when it was falling. Needless
to say, catch-after-catch started again.
For those who already forgot that I took revenge on my wife, I
was still fishing against her on this 2nd week of fishing at this
place. 1st week, we didn't know bass were in the pond, so we said
the 2nd week it is.
Now, back to my jig fishing, I was catching tons, yet other anglers
were still catching none. Here comes Yucci,
"I want a jig, too, Dodge"
"You didn't bring your own jig," I said, and she went,
"I don't have a jig. I don't fish like that."
"You can use your spinnerbaits then," I said, and she
glared at me as she was about to push me into the pond, so I gave
her my jigs.
What happened was she started catching a lot again, and that made
her mentally retarded. She was laughing loud, jumping around...
I pretended not knowing her.
Catching too many fish can cause some brain damage, such as apoplexy
or maybe cardiac infarction. Be careful, folks. |

She says jigs are not her style of fishing,
but she knew how to make actions on the bait. Caught a lot
of bass. |
