Priority EverStart registration for 2005 season continues through Dec. 8

FLW Outdoors has announced that registration for the upcoming 2005 EverStart Series will be open to the general public beginning Dec. 13. Priority registration ŽÐ designated for the top 40 EverStart pros and 40 co-anglers (top 30 from the Western Division) from last season as well as tournament anglers qualifying through the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League ŽÐ is ongoing and will run through Dec. 8. Anglers who have priority status and wish to register before Dec. 9 should contact FLW Outdoors at (270) 252-1000.

In addition, Ranger boat owners can register as early as Dec. 9, while owners of Champion, Stratos and Skeeter boats can begin registering Dec. 10.

For other entries, nontransferable, nonrefundable tournament deposits will be accepted beginning Dec. 13 at 8 a.m. Central time. Anglers who enter all four qualifying tournaments by Dec. 13 will be given priority over anglers who enter less than four events.

Online registration for the EverStart Series will be made available beginning Dec. 9.

Tournament fees are $750 for the Pro Division and $300 for the Co-angler Division.

Specific registration rules regarding the 2005 EverStart Series are as follows:

Ž¥ Participation is open only to members of FLW Outdoors who are 16 years of age or older. Any person entering a tournament under the age of majority must also have the signature of their parent or legal guardian in the provided space on the entry form.

Ž¥ Anglers who qualify for entry as a result of their performance in the 2004 Wal-Mart BFL or 2004 EverStart Series, must have their deposits for all four tournaments within a division paid by Dec. 8 in order to secure their entry priority position.

Ž¥ For Ranger boat owners and sponsor entries (FLW Outdoors will reserve sponsor spots in each qualifying tournament), nontransferable, nonrefundable deposits will be accepted to hold pro and co-angler spots for tournaments beginning 8 a.m. Central time, Dec. 9.

Ž¥ For Champion, Stratos and Skeeter boat owners, nontransferable, nonrefundable deposits will be accepted to hold pro and co-angler spots for tournaments beginning 8 a.m. Central time, Dec. 10.

Ž¥ For other entries, nontransferable, nonrefundable deposits will be accepted to hold spots for tournaments beginning 8 a.m. Central time, Dec. 13. Anglers who enter all four qualifying tournaments by Dec. 13 will be given priority over anglers who enter less than four events.

Ž¥ Entries received after a tournament has filled will be placed on a waiting list. Those placed on the waiting list and who are not accepted into the tournament will receive a full refund after the tournament.

Ž¥ Deposits may be made by mail, phone, fax or via FLWOutdoors.com; walk-in entries will not be accepted. Each qualifying tournament will be limited to 400 contestants (200 boats).

Ž¥ Two hundred points will be awarded to the winner of each qualifying tournament, 199 to second place, 198 for third, etc. All anglers who receive weight credit will receive points. The top 40 pros and 40 co-anglers from the points standings after the four qualifying tournaments in each division will be invited to the year-end championship and will receive priority-entry status in their respective class for the 2006 EverStart Series.
